MAGEA11 (Melanoma antigen family A, 11) is a member of the MAGEA gene family. MAGEA proteins are expressed in melanomas and other cancers. MAGEA11 acts as androgen receptor co-regulator increasing androgen receptor activity by modulating the receptors interdomain interaction. Function: Acts as androgen receptor co-regulator that increases androgen receptor activity by modulating the receptors interdomain interaction. May play a role in embryonal development and tumor transformation or aspects of tumor progression. Subcellular Location: Nucleus. Cytoplasm. Tissue Specificity: Expressed in tumors of several types, such as melanoma, head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, lung carcinoma and breast carcinoma. Expressed in testis, ovary, prostate, cancerous prostate, breast and adrenal tissue. Similarity: Contains 1 MAGE domain. Paraformaldehyde-fixed, paraffin embedded (human lung carcinoma); Antigen retrieval by boiling in sodium citrate buffer (pH6.0) for 15min; Block endogenous peroxidase by 3% hydrogen peroxide for 20 minutes; Blocking buffer (normal goat serum) at 37°C for 30min; Incubation with (MAGEA11) Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-6817R ) at 1:200 overnight at 4°C, followed by operating according to SP Kit(Rabbit) (sp-0023) instructionsand DAB staining.
